Do you need a license for a PCP air rifle?
In England and Wales, you can freely buy an air rifle below a limit of 12ft/lbs power without any kind of license or permit. You can acquire one that’s higher powered if you have a Firearms Certificate (FAC). The law in Scotland is different: you need an Air Weapon Certificate or a visitor permit to use, possess, purchase or acquire an air gun.
