  • The Meteor Super features an almost complete redesign and has been refined and improved on its predecessor in a number of innovative ways. Chief amongst the improvements is an all new cylinder design that pairs excellently with a n improved cocking link to make this the most reliable and consistent Meteor ever produced. The Meteor also has a brand new trigger unit that is crisp and consistent with the guns redesign. The new Minelli beech stock is completes the look of this fantastic rifle and ensures comfortable shouldering and a stable shooting platform.
  • Building on the success of the much-loved R10SE, BSA have carefully designed the new R12 CLX Bolt action to not only enhance the classic features of its predecessor but also to add key benefits and improvements that allow this new variant to achieve even greater levels of performance. Key changes introduced for the all new R12 CLX Bolt Action include the use of their now tried and tested Mono-block platform which reduces components, complexity and improves reliability and efficiency. As this is a CLX model it uses a 12-shot magazine system with the additional safety features of a ‘cocked’ indicator, and following vociferous consumer feedback opposed to the current trend for side levers, for this model they have installed BSA’s cherished bolt action.  Air efficiency has improved with an all-new regulator, and BSA have maintained the standard 200cc air bottle for this model. Changes at the fore end of the stock mean that for the first time, a larger 280cc or 400cc bottle can also be used without any modification. Also, by adjusting the position of the pre fitted Sling studs, a Bi-pod can now be fitted without interfering with the position of the Quick fill system. Using higher graded materials and components such as stainless-steel pellet probes and a clearer, larger pressure gauge that makes reading air pressure in the rifle easier, these new features all go towards a PCP air rifle that keeps the spirit of the R10SE but shares very few components from its predecessor. In fact, the only major components that are shared are the trigger and trigger guard, and because it is a BSA, they fit their world-renowned hand chambered, crowned and choked cold hammer forged barrel……possibly the most accurate barrel available. The CLX magazine is 12 shot and includes a shot countdown window ensuring you have full visibility and control of how many shots you have left. An additional magazine is also supplied inside the sales package. The R12 CLX Bolt Action comes fitted with a CCS (Customer configurable shroud) system, allowing the choice of either a shrouded silencer, or for those wishing to use a larger diameter ‘scope’, the CCS can be customised to remove the shroud and utilise only the ‘Silencer’ part of the system with all the required components supplied in the box. Accuracy, Precision and Craftmanship have been combined to produce this next generation, new R12 CLX Bolt Action but don’t just take our word for it, judge it for yourself. Available in Super Carbine or Standard Length

  • Building on the success of the ‘Thumbhole’ version of the R10, BSA have designed the new, Mono-block side lever, regulated R12 CLX Pro to maintain the classic and much-loved Thumbhole stock. Maintaining the core benefits and features of the Ultra CLX and utilising the Sidelever action launched exclusively in the 160th Anniversary Ultra CLX, this new gun combines the key features and benefits into their new Flagship model. As ever BSA will present the R12 CLX Pro in one of Minelli’s quality made stocks. This latest thumbhole variant will be available in both walnut and black pepper laminate. Designed, developed and manufactured at their Head Quarters, in Birmingham England, they have taken advantage of the very best in new design and prototyping processes and facilities, the benefits of this new PCP are easily seen when compared to its ancestor the R10 TH, and no doubt other competitor products. With over 50,000 test shots put through their specially designed automated test equipment, they truly have put this new PCP through its paces. Throughout this process, BSA have kept the core values of the ‘R10’ firmly at the forefront of their minds.  Engaging with the expert designers at Minelli in Italy to ensure we jointly delivered a stock design that was clearly a “BSA Thumbhole”. The achieved result completely met the brief. • The all-new scorpion TS from BSA is the successor of the famous BSA Scorpion range of air rifles. Now with an improved shot count, larger air capacity, simplified magazine loading, and many more significant design improvements. The BSA Scorpion TS is a full-sized PCP air rifle featuring a smooth bolt action and multishot rotary magazine system allowing for quick and consistent shots one after another. The synthetic stock provides this rifle with a robust and lightweight feel which is perfect for long sessions out in the field, removing the likeliness of fatigue but keeping the control needed with every shot. The PCP air rifle also features BSA's own world-renowned cold hammer forged barrel which is 470mm in length. The barrel allows for precise and accurate shots every time.
  • The BSA Ultra CLX sets the bar to a new height taking over the lead role of BSA’s mid-sized sporter from the already high performing and time trusted Ultra SE. The CLX retains the core values of its predecessor yet due its unique Mono block platform pushes its overall performance to the next level. The new Mono block platform is the result of extensive design development and reduces the amount of internal component parts thus increasing its overall reliability and efficiency. For the first time on a BSA they have introduced their new Anti-double load 12 shot magazine system complete with shot countdown indicator. Air capacity and efficiency is greater than ever before giving a significant increase in shot count by up to 50%, whilst a completely new design of rotary safety catch and fully adjustable trigger provide the controllable feel of a much higher priced PCP model.
  • Colt Defender BB .177

    £119.95

The Colt defender air pistol has an outstanding build quality with its all metal construction.

The CO₂ capsule is held in the frame and can be changed quickly. The manual safety prevents accidental firing. A Weaver rail for additional accessories is attached below the muzzle. The frame and slide are made of metal, giving the Colt Defender a realistic weight and excellent feel.
  • Since its introduction in 1911, this eponymous military pistol from Colt has become one of the world’s best-known handguns. The authentic used look of this limited edition airgun reflects its long operational history. Instead of being polished to a shine and looking like it’s come straight from the factory, it bears typical marks of wear. That’s in contrast to the technically flawless condition of the full metal design. It uses the proven CO2-powered system with a 12 g cartridge, to propel the diabolo pellets of the 8-round rotary magazine through the rifled barrel with 4 joules. This legendary model is completed by the oiled walnut grips with classic diamond checkering and by the functional combination lever and grip safety.
  • The Colt M1911 ranks as one of the most successful ordnance handguns ever developed.

This replica has all the feel of the original plus proven CO₂ technology. With its extremely smooth trigger pull and precision workmanship, this pistol is a natural high scorer. Hard case and spare magazine included.
  • This new airgun from Umarex takes the well-known styling from the Colt M4 and couples it with the power, accuracy, and ease of a spring-powered rifle for reliable accuracy up to 50 meters. The action has a two-stage trigger, which can be adjusted to suit the individual, and the magazine pictured is a dummy, which can be removed. As per the original model, there's plenty of weaver rail mounting space for optics, lasers, and other accessories, and the rear butt stock extends to accommodate all frame sizes. The front sight is fixed, and the rear flips up for protection during transportation.

DO I NEED A LICENCE TO OWN AN AIRGUN?

In England, anybody over the age of 18 can buy an airgun, as long as it is below the legal power limit of 12ft/lbs for an air rifle, or 6ft/lbs for an air pistol.

HOW DO I ORDER AN AIRGUN ONLINE?

Here at The Wolfman, we offer an extremely easy way to order online. Simply place your order before Tuesday 4pm, and we will deliver your gun that weekend. All we need to see is a Photo ID to confirm your age on delivery!
Many other companies require more red tape, and the ordering process is not as streamlined, often taking longer to deliver airguns. We guarantee that any order placed before Tuesday 4pm is delivered that weekend in England and Wales. No waiting extra weeks just because you live in Cornwall, West Wales or Cumbria. No extra delivery fees for living further away. Easy delivery, with no hidden fees. How buying an airgun online should be.

HOW DO I FILL UP MY PCP AIRGUN?

Many people use either hand pumps or dive cylinders. These are both effective ways to fill up your PCP air rifle. Hand pumps have been used since PCP’s were first invented and take a fair amount of effort and pumps to fill up your gun to 200 bar. Dive cylinders are newer and require much less effort to fill your gun. Simply attach the hose to your fill adapter and slowly open your valve to fill your gun. Recently, a new way of filling has come onto the market in the form of compressors. These are expensive bits of kit that require a fair amount of maintenance, but they mean that you have the convenience of filling up your gun without worrying about refilling your dive cylinder.

SHOULD I GET A.177 OR .22 CALIBRE AIR RIFLE?

This is the age-old debate between owners, which is better – the .177 calibre or the .22. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but both are very effective in what they do. For target shooting, the general consensus is that .177 is better, as the pellets are smaller and the trajectory is flatter, so they are a bit easier to shoot and see the results on card. It is a great calibre to use for hunting too, with lots of shots per fill, and it really does do the job when you are out on the field.
However, the main argument is for hunting. 22 calibre have bigger pellets, which means they have a bigger impact and carry more weight when shooting. The main downside is that a bigger and heavier pellet will have a more curved trajectory when shooting, so it is harder to adjust at longer distances. If you can account for that difference, then .22 is a great calibre to use.
To summarise, they are both great calibres, and both take getting used to – learning each guns and calibres capabilities. Both will get the job done, so it is really down to personal preference over anything.

WHAT IS THE BEST AIR RIFLE?

The best air rifle is different for every person, given what style they like, the price and their ability. Each person has their own unique style and preferences – so this is not something that we would be able to answer.
In terms of usability, quality and consistency, we rate the Daystate Red Wolf highly, but this is a high end PCP air rifle, which comes at a high (but well worth it) price. If you are starting out or haven’t shot an air rifle since you were a kid, then something like a Crosman Shockwave starter kit would be an ideal gun to help you get into the sport. It is a well-made and consistent quality air rifle, which doesn’t break the bank.

WHERE AM I ALLOWED TO SHOOT MY AIR GUN?

You are permitted to shoot on your own land, as long as no pellet leaves the boundary of your property. If you shoot at a target near the edge of your land, and the pellet ricochets and lands in your neighbours land, this is breaking the law.
You can also gain permission to shoot on other people’s land, but this has to be confirmed with the land owner, and again no pellets must leave the boundary of the permission. It is always best to get written confirmation to remove any doubts.
You are not allowed to shoot on any public property, including parks, public places or any land you do not own (other than a permission).
There are numerous shooting grounds and clubs dotted around the country, where you may be able to shoot, regardless of ability.

WHAT TYPE OF PELLET GUNS ARE THERE?

A pellet gun is what it says on the tin. It is a gun which can shoot pellets, commonly airguns. These can be split up into different types, consisting of Spring Powered air guns, gas piston air guns, precharged pneumatic airguns, pneumatic air guns and CO2 air guns.

Spring Powered Air Guns
Spring air rifles, or springers, contain a coiled spring inside the chamber, which is compressed when you cock the gun. When you fire, the spring decompresses and pushes a piston, which forces air to propel the pellet out of the barrel.

Gas Piston Air Guns
Gas Piston Air guns are similar to springers, but instead of a coiled spring, there is a gas filled cylinder. So, cocking the gun pressurises the air in the cylinder, and pulling the trigger decompresses the air, and propels the pellet.

Precharged Pneumatic Air Guns
Precharged Pneumatic Air Guns are new technology of airguns and contain a cylinder with highly pressurised air. This is normally around 200-250 bar depending on the gun (your car tyre only has around 2-2.5 bar). PCP air guns are virtually recoilless and are very high powered. However, they do have to be filled externally via hand pumps, air cylinders or compressors, which can be expensive to use.

Pneumatic Air Guns
Pneumatic Air Guns, or variable pump guns have a piston and a cylinder, which is compressed by pumping the gun. Each pump gives the gun more power, up to a limit, which gets stored in the cylinder. Pulling the trigger uses the pressure stored in the cylinder to fire the pellet.

CO2 Air Guns
CO2 Air Guns work in a similar way to PCP air guns, but instead of containing a cylinder with highly pressurised air, they use separate CO2 cartridges. When you fire, this releases a small amount of CO2, which pushes the pellet out of the barrel.

WHAT ARE AIR GUNS USED FOR?

Air guns in the UK have various uses, including target shooting, pest control, and recreational shooting. They are commonly used for small-game hunting and plinking.

HOW MUCH IS AN AIR GUN IN THE UK?

The cost of an air gun in the UK can vary significantly depending on the type, brand, and features. Entry-level air rifles can start at around £200, while high-end models with advanced technology can cost over £1,000.

WHAT IS THE MOST POWERFUL AIR GUN AVAILABLE?

The most powerful air guns in the UK are typically precharged pneumatic (PCP) rifles. These rifles can generate high muzzle velocities, but it’s essential to adhere to legal power limits when using air guns for hunting.

CAN I LEGALLY DEFEND MYSELF WITH AN AIRGUN IN THE UK?

In the UK, air guns are not considered suitable for self-defence. The law strictly regulates the use of firearms for self-defence purposes, and air guns are primarily designed for recreational and sporting activities. Using an air gun for self-defence can lead to legal consequences.
