Maintaining the core benefits and features of the Ultra CLX and utilising the Sidelever action launched exclusively in the 160th Anniversary Ultra CLX, this new gun combines the key features and benefits into their new Flagship model. As ever BSA will present the R12 CLX Pro in one of Minelli’s quality made stocks. This latest thumbhole variant will be available in both walnut and black pepper laminate. Designed, developed and manufactured at their Head Quarters, in Birmingham England, they have taken advantage of the very best in new design and prototyping processes and facilities, the benefits of this new PCP are easily seen when compared to its ancestor the R10 TH, and no doubt other competitor products. With over 50,000 test shots put through their specially designed automated test equipment, they truly have put this new PCP through its paces. Throughout this process, BSA have kept the core values of the ‘R10’ firmly at the forefront of their minds. Engaging with the expert designers at Minelli in Italy to ensure we jointly delivered a stock design that was clearly a “BSA Thumbhole”. The achieved result completely met the brief. Building on the success of the much-loved R10SE, BSA have carefully designed the new R12 CLX Bolt action to not only enhance the classic features of its predecessor but also to add key benefits and improvements that allow this new variant to achieve even greater levels of performance. Key changes introduced for the all new R12 CLX Bolt Action include the use of their now tried and tested Mono-block platform which reduces components, complexity and improves reliability and efficiency. As this is a CLX model it uses a 12-shot magazine system with the additional safety features of a ‘cocked’ indicator, and following vociferous consumer feedback opposed to the current trend for side levers, for this model they have installed BSA’s cherished bolt action. Air efficiency has improved with an all-new regulator, and BSA have maintained the standard 200cc air bottle for this model. Changes at the fore end of the stock mean that for the first time, a larger 280cc or 400cc bottle can also be used without any modification. Also, by adjusting the position of the pre fitted Sling studs, a Bi-pod can now be fitted without interfering with the position of the Quick fill system. Using higher graded materials and components such as stainless-steel pellet probes and a clearer, larger pressure gauge that makes reading air pressure in the rifle easier, these new features all go towards a PCP air rifle that keeps the spirit of the R10SE but shares very few components from its predecessor. In fact, the only major components that are shared are the trigger and trigger guard, and because it is a BSA, they fit their world-renowned hand chambered, crowned and choked cold hammer forged barrel……possibly the most accurate barrel available. The CLX magazine is 12 shot and includes a shot countdown window ensuring you have full visibility and control of how many shots you have left. An additional magazine is also supplied inside the sales package. The R12 CLX Bolt Action comes fitted with a CCS (Customer configurable shroud) system, allowing the choice of either a shrouded silencer, or for those wishing to use a larger diameter ‘scope’, the CCS can be customised to remove the shroud and utilise only the ‘Silencer’ part of the system with all the required components supplied in the box. The BSA Scorpion TS is a full-sized PCP air rifle featuring a smooth bolt action and multishot rotary magazine system allowing for quick and consistent shots one after another. The synthetic stock provides this rifle with a robust and lightweight feel which is perfect for long sessions out in the field, removing the likeliness of fatigue but keeping the control needed with every shot. The CLX retains the core values of its predecessor yet due its unique Mono block platform pushes its overall performance to the next level. The new Mono block platform is the result of extensive design development and reduces the amount of internal component parts thus increasing its overall reliability and efficiency. For the first time on a BSA they have introduced their new Anti-double load 12 shot magazine system complete with shot countdown indicator. Air capacity and efficiency is greater than ever before giving a significant increase in shot count by up to 50%, whilst a completely new design of rotary safety catch and fully adjustable trigger provide the controllable feel of a much higher priced PCP model. -

Their origins date back all the way to the seventeenth century, or 1689 to be precise. William of Orange and Mary II of England were keen to produce more rifles and guns for their army here in the U.K., as opposed to importing them. They asked for a trial order of 200 snaphance muskets per month from Birmingham’s gunsmiths, who amply fulfilled the order. After 150 years, these gunsmiths formed a limited company: the Birmingham Small Arms Trade Association, which eventually, would become the BSA.

Airgun Home Delivery
Here at The Wolfman, we are proud in offering Free Delivery on all air guns to mainland England and Wales. All orders placed before 5pm on Tuesday will be fulfilled that weekend. Almost all deliveries will take place on Saturday or Sunday. Please note we do not deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland or offshore locations.
All deliveries within the UK must happen face-to-face. The person who orders the item, must be the same person to receive the item when we deliver it. They must also provide a valid Photo ID – we will only accept a Driving Licence or Passport. You must be over 18 to purchase any air gun or ammunition.
RFD Delivery
We offer RFD delivery as an alternative to our normal Airgun Home Delivery service. With our comprehensive network of RFD’s located throughout England, Scotland and Wales, we can deliver your gun to them, allowing you to collect at your convenience.
As this is a service provided as a favour from your local gun shop, they charge a booking in and collection fee for handover, normally £25, payable on collection of your gun.
For any customers in Scotland, please ensure you have your Airgun permit prior to purchasing.
